FEMME

Army of Mothers’ Babylounge, opens Oct 22th 2011

Posted in Uncategorized on September 28, 2011 by aggiefrost

Imagine your baby being wrapped in soothing sounds from mothers from all around world as she explores the strange and changing texture of the floor, or is totally preoccupied with the shimmering dewdrops floating in the air. Well, you don’t have to create this image, you can just bring your baby (0-18 months) along and come and experience this wonderful world together.

Artist Aggie Peterson is a renowned music-maker on the Norwegian electronic scene (Frost, Femme Digitale), a composer, producer, singer and a mother. During Insomnia 2011 she invites you to an art-installation that combines sounds and objects, especially made to be explored by babies.

Who is Femme Digitale?

Posted in Blog on June 23, 2009 by aggiefrost

Femme Digitale is mellow, sometimes marshmellow. She likes music, art, rooms, theremines, people, films, dancing, babies, dogs and butterflies.

There is a feeble line between dreams and reality.

Femme Digitale is taking part in this online art-project, Wheather Photos, an international photo project about weather, emotion and communicating through photography.

In this blog, sets of 2 individuals use photographs to communicate with each other, sharing their feelings about the weather and its influence on emotion and mood. Combining photos from partners around the world, this blog references both weather and emotion, across geography and time. Two artists, one in NY, the other in Berlin, conceived this project for Transcultural Exchange.

The Weather Photos blog did an on-site installation for Shanghai’s Zendai MoMA in November 2008.
